1. What is this Meditation Basics Focus Group all about?
  Answer: This focus group is a unique opportunity to join a free, six-week introductory series on meditation. In exchange for your participation, we’re asking for honest feedback through short surveys after each class. This will help us improve our program for future participants. Classes cover the essentials of meditation, making it perfect for beginners or anyone wanting a refresher.

2.  What will I learn in these classes?  
   Answer: You’ll learn core meditation techniques, including breathwork, body awareness, Zen meditation, and more. Each session focuses on a different method, allowing you to explore various styles and find what resonates with you.

3. Do I need prior meditation experience to join?
   Answer:
No prior experience is necessary! This series is designed for all levels, especially beginners. If you’ve never meditated before or want a refresher, you’ll find this focus group welcoming and informative.

4. How do I participate in the feedback surveys? 
   Answer:
After each session, you’ll receive a short survey (5 minutes) asking for your thoughts on that week’s class. Your responses will help us refine the program for future participants, so honesty is encouraged!

5. Can I participate both in-person and virtually?  
   Answer: Absolutely! You can attend in person at our Knoxville location or join us virtually. Just select your preferred mode when signing up, and we’ll provide the details you need.  If you need to switch your option before the class, just send an email or call to let Audra know.

6. What if I miss a session? 
   Answer:
We ask that all focus group participants commit to attending every class, as each session builds on the previous ones. However, we understand emergencies happen—if you miss a session, please let us know in advance if possible.

7. Where are the in-person classes held? 
   Answer:
Our in-person classes are held in West Knoxville near the Cedar Bluff/Middlebrook Pike vicinity. We’ll send the exact address and any details you need to know when you sign up.

8. What technology do I need to join virtually?  
   Answer:
For virtual attendees, you’ll need a reliable internet connection and a device (computer, tablet, or smartphone) with audio and video capabilities. We’ll send you a Zoom link to join the session each week.

9. Will my information be kept private?  
   Answer:
Absolutely. Your responses are strictly confidential and will only be used to improve the program. We respect your privacy and will never share your data without permission.

10. Are these classes really free? What’s the catch?  
   Answer:
Yes, the classes are completely free! The only thing we ask in return is your commitment to attend each session and provide feedback through our surveys.

11. How long is each class, and what should I expect?  
   Answer: Each class lasts one hour and includes instruction, practice, and a brief Q&A. Sessions are designed to be accessible, so you’ll feel relaxed and engaged, even if you’re completely new to meditation.

12. What if I have questions between sessions? 
   Answer:
We’re here to support you! If you have any questions, feel free to reach out to us via email or phone. We’ll make sure you’re prepared for each session.

13. How many people will be in the focus group? 
   Answer:
To keep sessions intimate and ensure you receive individual attention, each focus group will be limited to around 4 people in-person and 4 people virtually.

14. What should I wear or bring to each session? 
   Answer:
Wear something comfortable that allows you to sit or lie down easily. You may also want to bring a notebook, pen, and water. If you’re attending virtually, choose a quiet, comfortable spot.
